Archie La Salle

EMCEE

Working in the Diocese of San Bernardino for 20 years, Archie La Salle is a devoted Catholic youth minister turned college campus missionary. With years of experience walking alongside teens in parish ministry, he now serves university campuses in San Bernardino, fostering a vibrant faith community rooted in prayer, fellowship, and service.

Archie sheds light on how the church is larger than the 4 walls we worship in; it's the communities we build that reflect the gospel in students' daily lives, creating spaces where faith can be explored, questions welcomed, and hearts transformed.

SEEN&HEARD

MUSICIANS

We're SEEN&HEARD — a band of believers from Redlands, California, built on a single line from Acts 4:20: "It is impossible for us not to speak about what we have seen and heard." We started in 2023, and that verse has been the whole point ever since. Creating a sound that is cinematic and atmospheric — SEEN&HEARD fills a room and open it up, in melodic prayer giving people permission to encounter God instead of watching a performance. We play to invite all who've never stopped believing, the searching, the doubting, the ones who aren't sure they belong.

Fr. Tony Gomez

CELEBRANT

Fr. Tony Gomez’s call to the priesthood started with a prayer. Driving home one night, feeling restless about where his life was headed, he simply asked God for a sign. Three days later, the phone rang — the Archdiocese’s vocations office, asking if he’d ever considered becoming a priest. He said yes, and he’s never looked back.

Ordained in 1998, he celebrated his very first Mass not in a grand church but in a county jail, where, as he puts it, “the Gospel comes to life.” Since 2018 he has served as the 8th pastor of St. Philip the Apostle. His message stays simple and honest: “Faith doesn’t guarantee you won’t suffer. Faith guarantees there will be a good end in eternity.”

Fr. Tony Gomez

Stephen Powers

MUSICIAN

Stephen Powers has spent over 20 years serving in music ministry, leading worship at Mass, retreats, and worship nights across the Dioceses of Orange, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

He is a former missionary with NET Ministries. During his second year, he helped serve on an inaugural team that introduced worship nights as a new expression of NET’s ministry.

God has made a profound impact on his life, most intimately through the Eucharist, and in times of worship and Adoration. It’s because of this encounter and continued relationship with Jesus that Stephen has committed himself to music ministry, letting God use him as an instrument to help others encounter Christ in the same way and be transformed.
