Dear fellow Catholic Youth Ministry Leaders:

Greetings from NET Ministries! Over the ten years that I have been directing our dynamic monthly teen event, Lifeline, and our summer retreat program, Discipleship Week, a number of local youth ministers have expressed a desire to gather for prayer and training. Gina Bauer, youth minister at St. Joseph’s in West St. Paul, put it this way: "We [youth ministers] need a place to come together to pray and keep our personal faith in the Lord alive. Practical training in youth ministry would be great too!"

Another veteran youth minister, Justin Stroh, from Divine Mercy in Faribault, shares from his own experience that "finding support through friendship and prayer as well as growing through professional development is the key to effective youth ministry."

In response to this need, I’m excited to formally announce a new program called Lifeline For Youth Ministers! Taking place on the first Tuesday of each month, these gatherings will be a great time to meet other youth ministers, pray, share ideas and fellowship.

I look forward to the opportunity to partner with you in challenging young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me or my program assistant Julie here at the NET office.

How? Just join us at the NET Center! Regular gatherings are free of charge.
*Retreat for a day and join us for our DAYS OF REFLECTION for Youth Ministers. Be personally renewed and spiritually fed during extended sessions which will take place during the Advent and Lenten seasons on the regularly scheduled Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. Retreat with us for Mass, song, prayer, teachings and reflections during these days.
