It costs an average of $15,000 to recruit, train and send each NET team member out to minister to youth around the country during the NET year.
Of that cost, approximately:
• 1/3 is raised by the team member
• 1/3 comes from program fees
• 1/3 is donated by “Partners in Mission” with NET

Gift of Appreciated Securities: Publicly traded stock is valued at the average of the high and low market value on the date of delivery. Stock traded over-the-counter is valued at the average of bid and ask on the date of delivery. The value of a gift of closely held stock should be determined in consultation with the donor’s tax advisor.

Include NET in my/our estate plans:
Bequests. Charitable bequests made through an individual’s will may be used to pay off a campaign commitment provided that the commitment is accompanied by either an irrevocable pledge agreement or a contract to make a will.
Living Trusts. Gifts from living trusts, with proper documentation, may be made to pay off a commitment.
Life Income Plans. Through the use of gift annuities, annuity trusts, unitrusts, and pooled income funds, a donor may make a substantial gift to the campaign and still receive lifetime or term-certain income from the gift proper.
Residence with Retained Life Estate. Such a gift of real estate may be made to pay a campaign commitment, while the donor retains the right to live and maintain the residence for life or for a specified period of years.
Charitable Lead Trusts. These trusts may be created to provide income to NET Ministries in payment of a commitment over a specified period of years, not to exceed 20, or for the life of the donor. Subsequently, the corpus reverts to the donor or his/her designee.
Charitable Remainder Trusts. With this type of trust, the donor or beneficiary receives the income stream from the principal (or corpus) for the life of the donor. Upon the death of the donor, NET receives the principal.
Life Insurance. A commitment to the campaign may be paid off with a life insurance policy, provided that NET Ministries is the irrevocable beneficiary and owner of the policy, and the donor pays all premiums either in advance or on a contract schedule basis.
