Read Mark’s Bio
Mark was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He attended the University of Minnesota and studied social work. Mark received his Bachelor of Science Degree summa cum laude. Two years later, he was granted his Master’s Degree in social work from the same university. Mark completed a second Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from the University of Dallas.
Mark has been active in youth ministry since 1972 and began full-time ministry in 1978 at the former St. Paul Catholic Youth Center. Mark is the Executive Director of NET Ministries, Inc., which he founded in 1981. For more than 30 years, Mark and his staff have successfully trained and sent out over 2,000 young adults to share the Gospel with over 1 ½ million youth. Mark feels that it is a privilege to help young people experience an awakening of faith and grow in living as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Mark resides in St. Paul, MN with his wife, Mary. They have 4 adult children. Mark serves on several Catholic boards and is an active member of the Community of Christ the Redeemer. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and playing hockey.
Read David’s Bio
David is originally from Connecticut. After graduating from the University of Connecticut with a B.A. in Communications, David was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He served as an Navigator for seven years, flying 436 missions around the world.
David came to NET in 1997 and now serves as the Program Director. He’s honored to work with the absolute best people in ministry! David holds a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Theology from Ave Maria University and serves as a professional Catholic speaker. He has given over 800 presentations to youth and adults around the country.
He married his wife Linda in 2002 and they live in South St. Paul, MN with their sons Anthony, Dominic, and Rocco.

Read Matt’s Bio
Matt grew up in the central valley of California where he grew up loving sports, listening to music and spending time with his large extended family.
In 2002, Matt served as the one of the Team Leaders of the Home Team. He enjoyed his time in MN and decided to make it his home. Matt worked as a NET Team Supervisor from 2003 – 2005 and as NET’s Recruiting Coordinator from 2008 – 2013. Matt has a degree in Visual Communication from Brown College in Minnesota.
Matt married a Texan named Jill in 2005 and together they have 3 young children. Matt spends his time wresting with his children, attending Minnesota Twins games, and going out to eat with his wife.

Read Michelle’s Bio
Michelle was raised in North Saint Paul, MN. She earned her B.A. in Professional Communication from Metropolitan State University in Saint Paul, MN.
Michelle served with NET in 2005-2006 and worked on staff as a Team Supervisor in 2009-2010. Michelle has also served on a parish ministry team in Hawaii as a part of InHim Ministries. Michelle currently works as the Parish and School Team Administrator for NET.

Read Dan’s Bio
Originally from the United Kingdom, Dan came over to the U.S. to serve with NET. His intentions were to devote his life to God through the sacramental life, prayer, community and mission. His journey in the U.S. began by serving with the Hastings Parish Team for two years and on NET’s Mission Staff for another two years. His current position at NET is as the Retreat Team Administrator. As of June 7th, 2014, he married his life’s companion, Sarah, who currently works with the development staff at NET. Dan also has a background in performance guitar and is currently studying part-time as he works toward a Divinity Degree.

Read Joe’s Bio
Joe is originally from Chattanooga, TN. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee
and his Master’s in Pastoral Theology from Ave Maria University. He has over 20 years of youth ministry experience.
Joe served on the road with NET in 1985-1986 and joined the staff in 1994 to expand NET’s presence in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. He directs Lifeline for Catholic young people and The Gathering for youth ministry leaders. On the parish and diocesan levels, Joe delivers hundreds of dynamic, practical presentations to catechists, parents and young people alike. More info can be found at www.joeroueche.com.
An outdoor enthusiast, Joe enjoys white-water rafting, camping, and driving his 61 Impala convertible. He resides in Minneapolis with his wife and three children.

Ryan is originally from Cerritos, California.
Before coming to NET he held various jobs including working in a parish, retail, daycare, theme park management, videography, photography, and restaurant management.
He served as co-leader of NET Team 5 in 2009-2010 and was a Team Supervisor for two years after that. Ryan enjoys playing guitar, crosswords, Sudoku and bowling.

Read Steve’s Bio
Steve is originally from Glendale, California. He has his B.M. in Choral/Vocal Music Education from California State University-Long Beach. After serving with NET in 1999-2000, Steve moved to the Twin Cities and worked as an Assistant Youth Director for three years. From there, Steve spent five years discerning the vocation of priesthood at the Saint Paul Seminary. In the summer of 2009, he returned to NET as a Team Supervisor and afterwards, took over the areas of Alumni Relations and Music for NET. Since then, he has earned his Master’s in Divinity and enjoys being a home owner! He’s a classically trained pianist and has worked as a worship leader for over 15 years. In his spare time, he enjoys watching movies, gardening, cooking, and wine-tasting.

Read Tristin’s Bio
Tristin is from Indianapolis, IN. She received a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and food management from Ball State University. Before coming to NET, Tristin was a wedding planner in San Francisco, CA. She served as the co-leader of the New Ulm, MN parish team in 2013-14. In her current position, she helps plan and conduct NET’s monthly Lifeline event, Discipleship Weeks, and Youth Ministry Leader’s training. She enjoys cooking, reading, drawing, horseback riding, soccer, and singing.
Read Allie’s Bio
Allie grew up in Katy, Texas, with her six siblings. She earned her B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota with an emphasis in painting and printmaking. She now applies her degree to practicing Sacred Art by writing icons and commissioned paintings.
In 2007, Allie served as one of the Team Leaders of the Home Team. Much to her family’s dismay, she loved Minnesota and decided to join NET’s recruiting staff in 2008. Allie currently serves as NET’s Recruiting Administrator, and happily calls St. Paul home. She enjoys painting, spending time outdoors (preferably near a body of water), and being with close friends.

Josh is originally from Modesto, CA. He served for two on the road 2009-2011. He has been on staff since his time on the road and is currently one of the Recruiting Assistants. Josh is also a full-time student at Saint Paul College pursuing a degree in Respiratory Therapy. Josh and his wife, Maria (alum 05-06), live in Mendota Heights, MN.

Read Jenelle’s Bio
Jenelle, originally from Sioux Falls, SD, is the oldest of four children. She earned her B.S. in Chemistry from Creighton University and worked as an Analytical Chemist for eight years before serving with NET.
Jenelle was one of Team 3′s leaders in 2001-02. Because she enjoyed the NET environment and liked reaching out to the youth of America, she served as a program assistant for scheduling from 2002-04. She was promoted to Retreat Team Scheduler in 2004. The position has since evolved into National Scheduling Coordinator.
Jenelle, who also is a certified color analyst, enjoys watching the Green Bay Packers play, traveling, and baby-sitting, especially for her two nieces and three nephews. She currently resides in Inver Grove Heights, MN.

Read Catherine’s Bio
Catherine is originally from small town Iowa where she grew up as the oldest of nine children. Before coming to NET she worked as a parish office assistant and served as a catechist in a program known as Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Catherine served with a NET traveling team in 2010-2011 and then on a parish team in 2011-2012, discovering a passion for the mission of evangelization.
Catherine and her husband Ryan were married in May 2014. Catherine enjoys listening to and writing music, playing guitar, baking, reading, and trying new restaurants.

Read Ashley’s Bio
Ashley is originally from Las Vegas, NV. She received her bachelor’s in English from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Prior to serving with NET, she worked at the Las Vegas Library District for six years. Later, she worked as a youth minister and substitute teacher. Ashley co-led NET’s home team in 2013-14 and is serving her first year on mission staff as the Scheduling Assistant, helping bring NET to nearly 1,000 parishes and schools across the United States. She enjoys reading, crafting, dancing, and playing the drums.

Read Alison’s Bio
As a graduate of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Alison holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Business Marketing and Philosophy. Before coming to NET, she worked as a hotel desk clerk and later as a Marketing Coordinator.
Alison joined the NET Ministries staff in 2010. She enjoys camping, spending time with her family, traveling, and being active with her two young children and husband. She and her family live in the Twin Cities.

Adrian comes from Baldwin Park, California. He has his B.S. in Communications with an emphasis in Entertainment Media from John Paul the Great Catholic University in San Diego, CA. Before and during college Adrian worked at IKEA as a sales representative. He was the Senior Resident Assistant and worked with Campus Ministry. Adrian served two years on NET from 2000-2002. Adrian joined mission staff in January 2010 and became the Online Communications Coordinator in 2011. He enjoys coaching, wrestling, leading worship, writing for film, writing music, concerts, movies and going out with friends.

Jotham is originally from Columbus, OH. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Ohio Dominican University with a double major in philosophy and public relations/marketing communications. He has worked as a marketing/PR coordinator, a youth minister, and a communications intern. Jotham served with NET’s home team in 2009-2010 and is now serving as NET’s first mission staff marketing assistant. He enjoys playing guitar, reading, sports, singing, videography, social media, writing, and giving talks.

Read Jim’s Bio
Jim grew up in Elk River, Minnesota and now resides in Inver Grove Heights. Jim and his wife have five adult children, two of which have served with NET teams in recent years.
Jim graduated from St. Thomas with a B.A. in Social Sciences and taught Social Studies at the Academy of Holy Angels for two years before joining NET staff as the recruiter of NET team members. During his time at St. Thomas, Jim served with the first NET “Blitz team” in January of 1980 and 1981. From the fall of 1981 to spring 1982 he served with the first full-year NET team. Jim left NET in 1993 to work for US Bank, but returned in 2006 to serve as NET’s Director of Development.

Read Matt’s Bio
Matt is originally from Westminster, Colorado where he grew up with his parents and two younger sisters. Midway through his college career, Matt served with NET Ministries in 2005-2006 on Team 8. After his service with NET Ministries, Matt attended Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas to wrap up a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology. Matt’s main accomplishment at Benedictine College was leading a group of students to establish a chapter of St. Paul’s Outreach, a college outreach ministry that facilitates a household system and large group prayer meetings on college campuses across the United States. After graduating from Benedictine in May 2009, Matt stayed in Atchison to serve for two years as a full-time missionary for St. Paul’s Outreach.
In August of 2011, after serving with St. Paul’s Outreach, Matt rejoined NET Ministries as the Assistant Development Director – Major Gifts Officer and is currently responsible for the major gifts program at NET Ministries. Matt is passionate about spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and loves offering people an opportunity to join the mission of NET Ministries through their financial contribution.
Currently, Matt lives in West Saint Paul, MN with his wife, Anita, and son, Moses. In his free time, Matt is the commissioner for a sixteen team fantasy football league in which he won the 2012 championship.

Read Paul’s Bio
Paul was born and raised near Sioux City, IA and now resides in South St. Paul, MN with his wife Kate and their three young children. After graduating from high school Paul enlisted in the US Army as an armor crewman for the M1A1 Abrams tank. After four years of active duty service he joined the National Guard and served as a tank commander while finishing his B.A. in History and Secondary Education at Briar-Cliff University in Sioux City, IA.
Paul served on NET Ministries as a Team Leader (1998-1999) before moving to the Twin Cities, where he worked in the admissions departments of various public and private universities, including Bethel University, where he served as the Director of Admissions. In March 2013 he joined NET staff as the Partnership Program Manager.
Paul recently completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree at Cardinal Stritch University (Milwaukee, WI) and became a commissioned officer in the Navy Reserves, where he continues to serve part-time. In his spare time Paul enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities with his children.

Sarah is from Grand Rapids, MI, and is the second youngest of 7 children in her family. She served with NET Ministries right after graduating from Franciscan University of Steubenville, where she earned a degree in Drama and a minor in Theology. Sarah served with a NET Parish Team in Hastings, MN as a Team Leader from 2011-2012, after which she served on Mission Staff as a Team Supervisor from 2012-2013.
Sarah enjoys drinking coffee and tea, cooking with her husband, stargazing, reading, playing with her 10 nieces and nephews, and thrifting.

Molly was born and raised in Morgantown, WV, where she first began fighting/confirming the stereotypes of middle children. After graduating from Marshall University in Huntington, WV with a degree in Secondary Education, Molly served as co-leader of NET Team 5 2011-2012. Following this, she joined NET’s Mission Staff as Scheduling Assistant and served in this role from 2012-2014.
Molly enjoys singing, reading, skiing, cheering on Pittsburgh’s professional sports teams, and sharing the Gospel.

Sara originally hails from Hudsonville, MI where she grew up with her mom, dad and older sister. She graduated from Grand Rapids Community College in 2009 with her Associates in Arts. After working at Target for two years, Sara felt call to serve with NET Ministries. In 2013-2014 she served on a traveling team and liked the ministry so much she decided to work as full time staff.

Dan is a native of the twin cities and attended college at the University of Minnesota where he earned his B.S. from the Carlson School of Management.
Dan served on a NET team from 1986-1987 and joined staff in 1997 where he presently serves as the Director of Administration. Dan enjoys backpacking, hockey and theology.

Read Julia’s Bio
Julia is a native of White Bear Lake, MN and comes from a large family. She earned her B.A. in Theology and Psychology from the College of Steubenville. Her past jobs have included Secretary in the Central Office of the Archdiocese of St. Paul/Mpls and Program Director of the St. Paul Catholic Youth Center (CYC).
Julia has been helping with NET since 1984, and joined the NET staff full-time in 1989 when the CYC closed. She enjoys biking, a variety of crafts, cooking and collecting recipes, camping and state park excursions.
Julia lives in West St. Paul with her husband and son.
Read Jeffrey’s Bio
Jeffrey grew up in Wisconsin with five sisters and one brother. After high school he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting/Financial Management. Jeffrey came to the Twin Cities to enter the St. Paul major seminary after working in the field of accounting for seven years.
Two years later, he joined NET Ministries to serve with a mission team. Afterward, he was invited to join NET staff as the Scheduling Coordinator and has continued serving NET in many ways. Jeffrey now serves as the Events Manager. He likes working for NET because he “believes in the heart of the ministry.” He likes that he is able to see how God uses him and the ministry to spread His word.
Read Lauren’s Bio
Lauren comes to NET from Bryan, TX. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University, and completed several graduate courses in Marriage & Family Therapy at St. Mary’s University in the Twin Cities.
Lauren served on the home team from 2003-2004. She joined staff as the Development Assistant in 2004 and began her current work as the Database Administrator in 2007. In addition to overseeing NET’s database, Lauren manages registrations for most events here at the NET Center.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys traveling – Texas being one of her favorite destinations – reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Vicky is originally from Southern California and served with a NET team for two years from 2000 to 2002. After her time on the road she moved back to California where she worked as a Confirmation Coordinator, Teacher’s Aid, and Nanny.
In 2006, she moved to the Twin Cities looking for a fresh start and figured it was a good place to find a nice community, reunite with old friends, and make new ones. She worked for Babies ‘R Us and a company called Green Tree. In 2008 she decided that she wanted to work for the Church again in some capacity, and has been the receptionist for NET Ministries ever since.
Vicky loves music, movies, reading, babies, and laughing. She currently lives in Inver Grove Heights, MN with her husband Mark.
Read Sylvia’s Bio
Born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Sylvia is the second of five children. Sylvia left New Mexico in 1987 to serve on the NET home team, after which she joined the NET staff from 1988 to 1993.
It was while Sylvia was working for NET that she met her husband, Tom Ryan (NET staff 1990 – 2005). They were married in 1992 and have five children. Sylvia has spent most of the last 20+ years caring for her family. Sylvia joined the NET part-time staff (again) in 2011, and currently serves as an Executive Assistant.
Read Natalie’s Bio
Natalie grew up as part of a large farm family in southern Minnesota. After graduating from the College of St. Benedict, she taught kindergarten and worked as a Director of Religious Education.
In 1987, Natalie married Nick Hall, a NET alumnus, and spent most of the last 20+ years at home caring for her husband and five children. She has enjoyed homeschooling her children and training them to be future Netters.
Natalie joined the NET staff part-time in 2007 and presently serves as Executive Assistant.
Read Mark’s Bio
Born and raised in Englewood, CO, Mark has 3 brothers and 1 sister. He studied Landscape Horticulture at Colorado State University. Still passionate about this field, Mark continues to work seasonally in this area.
In 1986 he followed a call to community life to Minnesota, leading him to the Community of Christ the Redeemer in 1987, making a covenant commitment in 1991, serving with others in NET, SPO, CYC Camps, and other ministries.
Though he has worked for NET since 2003, Mark has never served on a NET team, yet continues to serve NET and those she facilitates. “There is more to cleaning as a custodian – caring for a facility to promote prayer, work, and play is my mission as is encouraging stewardship. If others didn’t do their part caring for this building or indeed each other, not only would the building fall to ruins, so would the ministry.”
Mark gladly serves to promote an environment of holiness – and to do some occasional landscaping as well.
Read Lori’s Bio
Lori grew up on the shores of Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota with her parents and four older sisters. She earned her B.A. in Youth Ministry and Pastoral Theology and has completed some schooling for her Masters in Theology. Lori worked for NET from 1991 until 1993. She came back to NET in 2007 after spending several years as a youth minister and religious education director.
She enjoys singing, playing both guitar and clarinet, spending time with her friends and their children, helping the elderly and special needs children, and being a member of the local Serra Club. She has a great love for the Church, Her priests, and religious orders.

Cord is from Apple Valley, CA. He holds a B.S. in biology from the University of California Santa Barbara. After graduating college, Cord worked as a tide pool docent, a field research assistant, and a lab technician. He also volunteered in pastoral ministry, retreat ministries, and young adult ministry. He enjoys camping, fishing, rock climbing, and cooking.

Grace is originally from Burlington, VT. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Georgia where she was on the NCAA women’s equestrian team. Hector is originally from Las Vegas, NV. He served his first year with NET in 2007-2008 and came back midway through 2009 to help out a team in need. From 2010-2013, he worked as a youth minister in Las Vegas. This is his second year as a team supervisor for NET. His interests include watching sporting events, spending time with family and friends, and watching movies.
