DOXA, an evening of Eucharistic Adoration and acoustic worship, is a 2 hour event of prayer, music, and testimonies in the presence the Blessed Sacrament. The availability of a cleric (priest or deacon) is necessary for an event of this nature. The availability of an adequate sound system in the Church will be an important consideration. The Home Team will arrive 2 hours prior to the start of your event to set up the sound system and for dinner/fellowship with you before the event starts.
Over our 30 years of evangelistic ministry, we have seen how music is a powerful medium by which to fascinate the hearts and minds of these young people. NET has been tracking this phenomenon and believe that music can be powerful evangelistic tool. Coupled with the authentic worship of the Lord in Eucharistic Adoration, we have seen a growing desire among these young people to be in the presence of Lord in order to be transformed, healed and sent on mission. Today’s Catholic young people love Eucharistic Adoration, and they also love music, and they also crave silence from the business of their lives.
The target audience for a DOXA event is young people. However, you may choose to open up the event to a larger audience to accommodate your vision for the event in terms of your parish programming plan.
We’d like to introduce you to NET’s newest initiative, DOXA, the Greek word for “glory”.
